All about Think Pink & Blue

Think Pink was established in 2004 by Sarah Softley & Ruth Thurston, who were joined by friends, to raise money for breast and ovarian cancer charities, as they had all been touched by this terrible disease.

They decided to hold a ball, which became a bi-annual event and one of Norfolk's biggest fundraising balls and gala dinners.

Since their inaugural event in 2004, they have raised over £100,000 which has been distributed to worthwhile charities such as Breakthrough Breast Cancer, Keeping Abreast, the fund for the breast cancer care unit at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital in King's Lynn and Target Ovarian Cancer.

After a short break and back by popular demand 2018 will see a change in that a blue element has been added as the funds raised by Think Pink & Blue will be split between research into ovarian and prostate cancer research projects in East Anglia.

The committee now consists of Sarah Softley, who runs Norfolk's most successful event company Softley Events, independent businesswoman and fundraiser Ruth Thurston, Norwich business woman Fiona Ryder of Tin Can Digital, Dean Harper of Norwich’s finest independent wine merchants HarperWells, Dawn Knibb & Allie Thurston. They are supported year on year by some fantastic partners, this year by Keith Riches of KR Design, Kate Morfoot of Jungle PR and Steph Makins of Pollywiggle.

Without the support of sponsors, partners and you, the public, Think Pink would not have been able to raise such a fantastic sum for charity so please keep supporting us. As long as you keep coming to our events, we'll keep planning them!
