Host an awareness day
We are asking offices, organisations and individuals to host an awareness day. All we ask is for a small space in a busy area, perhaps reception or canteen, and a date, we will do the rest. Contact Ruth on 07979 504667 to arrange.
"There is no getting away from the fact that becoming more symptoms aware will save lives, not just yours but that of your family, friends and colleagues. Knowing what is normal for your body and recognising symptoms will enhance the prospect of early diagnosis and far better survival statistics.
I can come along with information to share and direct any questions that I can’t answer to the professionals that can.
If you think your work colleagues would benefit from being made aware of the early symptoms of both these forms of cancer please let me know. I need a small space in a busy area to enable me to pop up a table and spread the word.” Ruth Thurston
